Gosh its been too long I hate waiting this long to post because I dont know where to start. Well last week we saw Pirates on opening night. We were in the second row but it wasnt too bad. So yes it was a little too long but we both really enjoyed it regardless. Some parts I cant understand the dang pirate lingo but I will see it again soon so I can figure things out better. We got out a little after midnight and boy do the freaks come out!! Its fun seeing the pirates all dressed up though. So this memorial weekend we went to the annual softball tournament in Show Low. We stayed at my sisters cabin and Vance and Tina and kids went with us. We had fun riding quads and playing games and just chillin in the 75 degree weather. It was great. Mark did good playing but they lost 2 or 3 games short of the win. Darn it! He really wanted that bat bag they give out! Oh well. We will be back for Labor day tournament! So we saw Shrek 3 and we were not impressed. It had a good story but just kind of lacked interest to the story if that makes sense.I was wrestling with Owen the whole movie so maybe that was my problem. We will probably still buy it. Owen had two firsts this week, first time swimming and first time quad riding. It was eventful and fun! Im so lucky to have these three healthy kids. We are really starting to have fun doing family stuff. Minus the hard work and laundry to do when we get home I really like these little family trips.

So glad you had a great week. We can't wait to see Pirates!! We will leave our pirate hats and eye patches at home though :) I hope the cabin was so much fun. Do you have any pics? We saw Shrek 3 too with the kids. It was cute, but I cringe at all the bad words my boys take home. YAY for Owen...How did you ride the quad with him? We are going to Island Park this Summer and I would love to go out with all the kids. Anyway, so glad you posted again. We missed ya!
I took Ella to Shrek and she liked it. I too, don't like all the poo and stupid talk. I thought it was pretty good, she sat through the whole thing!
Glad you had a fun weekend. We are planning on seeing Shrek 3 next week. I too will be wrestling Jake the whole time I fear. But I'm hoping popcorn will keep him busy. Thanks for the Pirates update! I can't wait to see it.
So what was that you said about posting everyday? I guess I'll let it slide. It sounds like you guys had a fun time this weekend. I had to laugh at your 75 degree comment. That's what it is like everyday here. I think we've hit the 80s a few times, but the bummer is we haven't gone swimming yet. I bet Owen looked so cute in his little swim suit! And, yeah- Brody keeps asking me to watch, "the girls dancing video on the computer". At first I wondered what Greg had shown him, then I realized he was talking about Olivia's recital! He says he likes the music, umm yeah right. Should I be worried?
We saw Shrek also, I thought it was cute, I liked that it was short. I too cringe at all the times they say the words, stupid and butt. My kids love to repeat only the words they shouldn't. If you give my two some candy and popcorn they would sit through a foreign film!
